What
is a "condominium"?
A condominium is joint control of an estate's affairs
by two or more owners. In the case of Changi Garden,
this means 84 separate owners jointly control the complete
estate of Changi Garden. This means when someone litters
the grounds of Changi Garden, they are littering the
private property of 84 owners.
Throwing cigarette butts out of windows or pet dogs
defecating on the common walkway, this is being done
to the private property of all Changi Garden owners.
These problems are not new but on-going by a few residents
/ owners with little or no regard for the spirit of
a condominium. If you or your maid takes your pet for
a walk within the condominium, you are directly responsible
to remove any "litter" left behind. This is
common sense and being a good neighbor. For those who
continue to throw cigarette butts out of windows, you
have been warned several times. This is littering and
an offence under Singapore law. It is in your interest
to stop this anti-social behavior and practice being
a good neighbor.
Please, don't litter!

THIS
IS NOT BEING A GOOD NEIGHBOR!
This is an example of how not to dispose of your trash.
The entrance to each block in Changi Condominium is
not a trash dump. This entrance to Block B is shared
by a total of 8 families. 7 of those families do not
appreciate having trash dumped at the entrance to their
homes. What do you think visitors coming to someone's
condo think when they see piles of trash at the entrance?
This is bad manners, littering and being plain anti-social
at its worst!
All owners and residents of Changi Garden, please dispose
of trash in your rubbish chute or if it is too large,
take the trash to the disposal area at the east end
of Block C and put it into the dumpster where it belongs.
